The next step was to figure out why the Wacom Virtual HID Driver didn't instal when I was using the same driver software for all of the computers. I think the last two can vary depending on the Wacom device you have. The computers that were working had this entry and also had entries for the Wacom HID Digitizer and the Wacom HID Pen. I finally found the difference was that in the computer that wasn't working, there wasn't an entry for the Wacom Virtual HID Driver in the Human Interface Devices section I was missing the "Start Inking" on one of my computers, and the other all worked. Sorry, I didn't get to finsh my answer in the answer post. Thank you for your kind consideration and help. Perhaps there is something in Windows 7 that I must activate? Please offer informaton so I can learn more about making the ink feature work in MS Word and Outlook 2010. When I search information comes up about Word 2003 andĪ bit about 2007, but nearly nothing about 2010. I did a great deal of searching for information, but cannot find very much at all about ink in MS Word 2010. There, but it was some time ago and I cannot be sure what I did for it to go away. I believe it used to work when I clicked on Review. I believe I tried it also in 2010 when I first installed it, but as of now the Ink button atop my MS Work is grayed out. I used it in 2007, Word and Outlook and it worked fine.

I plug it in and its own tablet functions work. The Bamboo has to be plugged into the USB. I can ink in MS Note however, I am not able to do so in Outlook and MS Word 2010. So, everything is well now, and I'll am gathering monies to eventually buy this Office 2010 application, but not certain which flavor I want at this time. The inking button was not easy to find for me.

Eventhough apparently something was not right with the original installation, I then opened MS Word 2010 and the inking function worked fine. Still did not work so I completely removed the Bamboo Tablet application from my machine and again installed it. As mentioned above, I found and entered the start inking button as you instructed. Zhan, I am happy to inform your that the inking in Office 2010 is working fine on my machine. Table feature run fine outside of Office that is. I continue to seek how to get Office to recognize that table (Bamboo tablet) is on the operating system. With Office applications and that there must be something I have to do in Windows 7 to allow the association.

It seems to me the tablet function is not associated The Start Inking button is now on the QAT in MS Word and Outlook however, nothing happens when I click on it.
